Scott Ganka is a friend and member of The Lord of the Harvest Archery Club. He has 2 small boys, a wife, a great testimony, and he has leukemia. He has been battling it while tests have gone on for the last 5 months. He has insurance, but has to bear tremendous cost anyway for certain tests. He goes to Ohio State to get his marrow killed starting April 16th in Columbus, and will have a very rough 90 days. If the marrow transplant works, he will be out of work for the next year recovering. Please pray for him and his family, and that this transplant works quickly. Pray for healing, and that God will use the doctors and interviene.
Englewood Assembly of God on SR 48 in Union is having a "yard sale" for Scott and his family to help with expenses and medical bills Saturday, April 24th, 8-3pm at the church. You can set up the night before. (Friday night) It will be inside the church, but some items may be placed outside as well. All the proceeds will go to the family, so if you are doing spring cleaning, or replacing furniture, or cleaning the closets, this would be a worthy event to bring your things too. Monetary donations would also be appreciated and you drop them off on the day of the sale or mail your donation to the church.
Lets see what we can do to help this brother in Christ and his family!
